Laughter is for Mondays

Yes, that’s right, the American people need more laughter on Mondays than any other day. So, I thought I’d start a blog on Mondays that will deliver you one comic, sure to have you rolling on a day that would otherwise simply suck.

Take my Monday suck for example. I didn’t get very much sleep last night (my fault I know, but that doesn’t make any difference about how I felt when I woke up) and slept in. Consequently, I was in a hurry this morning and just grabbed my laptop bag, purse, and lunch box as I was headed out the door. On Monday mornings I try to put a post-it note on the door to remind myself of stuff I might forget. As I walked out the door, I congratulated myself on getting all the things on the list.

Then I got to work. I pulled my laptop out of my bag and set it up on my desk. I reached back into my bag to grab my laptop cable and discovered it was missing. My work laptop has the battery life of a half-dead hampster. So, I was forced to drive home (after the morning sales meeting) to fetch it, because god forbid my laptop battery last until lunchtime. And, of course, I hit every light on the way there and back again. Not necessarily a bad Monday, but it couldn’t have been better.

So, here’s your comic for today. It comes from The Big Crunch one of my newest favorite comic strips. I hope you like it as much as I do. 🙂
